Let’s Thrive

Our mission is to connect the Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency community through treatment support, increased social awareness, and advocacy.

Thrive with Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency Organization was founded on principles of resourcefulness, transparency, and connectedness. Content for this site is curated from pharma, research, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations to help you and your family manage PK deficiency. Please join us in building a PKD resource hub that supports the diverse perspectives of the community. Additional content may be considered by emailing twpkdnonprofit@gmail.com with a public link to the resource.

We will empower people with PKD to live a more satisfied life.

Opportunity to Help Raise Funds for Ukrainian Crisis Relief

We are seeking feedback from the PK deficiency community on topics of interest, resources, and what Thrive with PKD’s priorities should be. In exchange, the Thrive Organization will donate $50 to Global Giving’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund for each completed survey. Please help us raise $2500 by spending 10 minutes to answer a survey. Thank you!

Find a PKD Friendly Doctor

The Thrive Team recently launched our growing list of doctors across the United States. Our list is organized by US regions.

People with Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency experience a wide range of symptoms and health complications that often aren’t visible or expected. For this reason, it can be difficult to feel normal or validated. With every individual having their own unique story, we find it beneficial to share some of those stories so people don’t feel so isolated and alone.

Click on the Everyone Has A Story button above to listen to one of our stories, via BBC StoryWorks and let us know if you would like to share your own experiences with the community.
